Corn Biscuits

Summer calls for a strictly different cookies. Most of us hit the road. What to take into durable bags? Nothing out of the store, but homemade corn biscuits. We wrap them to the pool, vacation, trip, picnic ... Terribly long it will last. Perfect as a treat, like to sit outside. They are excellent for salads, grilled vegetables, cheeses ... They simply universal use.

If you use flakes gluten free, you can also offer celiacs. But I used the "ordinary" oatmeal that I simply blender rod mixer for flour. Feel free to reach for buckwheat, rye, wheat or what you love.

Corn Biscuits (7 pieces)

Inspiration: http://www.greenkitchenstories.com

  • 100 g oatmeal
  • 75 g corn flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 spring onion
  • a few sprigs of thyme

In a bowl, I mixed oatmeal with cornmeal, baking powder, soda and salt. I added olive oil, yogurt, finely grated carrot, finely chopped onion and a few sprigs of thyme. All I was thoroughly mixed and processed in a stiffer dough. The dough rozválela I'm a glass shaped wheels. For that amount I created seven pieces. I baked in a preheated oven at 180 degrees about 20 minutes.
